Orange barrels are again dotting Summit County's streets. Bus routes may be affected as construction projects move through the county.
Here are current route changes:
Effective Friday, Oct. 3: Construction has closed the bus stop at 267 W. Exchange St., across from Wabash Ave. and Akron General Medical Center until further notice.
Routes #3, #4 & #14 normally use this bus stop.
Regular service will resume when the project is completed.
Effective Wednesday, Oct. 1: the #14 Euclid bus will not go onto Akron Zoo property.
Passengers will be dropped off and picked on Euclid Ave. in front of the Zoo.
Construction on the Zoo's entrance and exit lanes will last two weeks. Regular Zoo service will resume when construction ends.
Effective Monday, Sept. 15: Rosa Parks Dr. will close for construction. Buses using Rosa Parks Dr. to get in to & out of the RKP Transit Center will have slight
detours.
Routes #26 & #34 going outbound from the Center will pick up & drop off passengers at a temporary bus stop on Selle St. & Main St.
No other bus stops are affected. The project is expected to last five weeks.
