METRO Regional Transit Authority, a 350+ employee transit authority located in Akron, Ohio is seeking an experienced professional to join our transit management team as the Maintenance Coordinator.
The individual selected for the position will be responsible for improving maintenance efficiency and eliminating delays through planning, scheduling and coordinating manpower, parts and materials, services and equipment access for all maintenance repair work.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a Business Management degree, five years experience as a Maintenance Mechanic and three years scheduling maintenance work, or a combination of education and work experience which provides the required skill set to perform the essential functions of the job.
