In partnership with Summit County Public Health, METRO will host a pop-up COVID-19 vaccination clinic at its Robert K. Pfaff Transit Center (631 S. Broadway St., Akron) on Thursday, August 26 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. No appointment is necessary to attend. Attendees should be age 18 or up and bring I.D.
METRO is offering free transportation to and from vaccination appointments and/or sites with proof of a digital or printed copy of a day-of appointment or pop-up event flier.
Those who receive vaccinations at the METRO pop-up vaccination site will receive a 31-Day bus pass via EZfare, METRO’s mobile ticketing app. Eligible Ohio Medicaid/MyCare participants (age 18 and over) who receive their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine will also receive a $100 gift card.
