As we reported back in November and you have no doubt since noticed: line-service or "city" buses are being used on some Northcoast Express runs.
"Why?" you ask. Well, two of our NCX coaches have been sent out for total, wheels-to-mirrors refurbishment.
Work on the buses has begun and could take up to 12 weeks to complete.
Line-service buses will have to make some NCX trips until the coaches' repair is complete.
We know it's not ideal to send line-service buses to Cleveland. However, the alternative - canceling some trips until we have our full roster - is worse.
The latest work estimate came Thursday from the repair facility. We will send out updates as we receive them.
